Parent and Son Winter Weekends

This is a tremendous opportunity for you are your son to enjoy a fun-filled weekend in the great outdoors when nature provides the beauty of winter. You and your son will stay in modern-equipped homes overlooking Lake Courage. Food is provided, come with your personal gear and enjoy winter with its exciting program features. You may choose one of two weekends. It is open to all Cub Scouts who are 10 years of age and younger.

The weekend will include cross-country skiing, ice skating (weather permitting), tobogganing and snow tubing. The camp will provide most of the equipment. The camp has snow shoes, cross country skis, ice skates, and toboggans. However, please bring any equipment that you may have (no hockey sticks please). Moms enjoy this activity just as much as dads. If there is no snow on the ground, the program will consist of parent/son log sawing, frisbee golf, BB range, archery, slow-pitch softball and hiking, or just enjoying a weekend with your son.
