Winterfest / Klondike Derby

Our Winterfest / Klondike Derby will be held at the traditional spot that is near and dear to our hearts … Camp Twin Echo on January 16 -18. So uncover those old reliable sleds from the past, or start now on building a new one. Each patrol should have their own sled and Winterfest flag. There will be special judging for sleds that are made from natural materials - sticks, vines, lashings, dovetails, etc. Winter is a wonderful time to go camping. With the proper equipment and adequate preparation, any Scout can enjoy the outdoors, even through the bitter cold of winter. Please call Wayne Richter at 412-901-1476 with any questions, concerns or comments.
