United Way
The United Way provides approximately 12% of the council’s annual operating fund. There are two ways Scouting can receive United Way funding: by applying for program funding through the allocation process; and donors designating that a portion or all of their gift go to a qualifying agency. Those choosing the designation option, must indicate the agency(ies) of choice on their pledge form. When you choose to designate your United Way gift for the Greater Pittsburgh Council, Boy Scouts of America, you make an investment in the lives of our youth. During the fall campaign, you may designate by using the appropriate code for the area in which you live.
