57th Eagle Scout Dinner to be held November 21
Donald P. Fusilli, Jr. president and chief executive officer, Michael Baker Corporation, has been selected as chairman of the council’s 57th Annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner to be held at the Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel on Tuesday, November 21.
Each November, the Greater Pittsburgh Council presents a special opportunity for business and community leaders to recognize the year’s Eagle Scout Class and a distinguished community leader. The dinner, which has become a premier event in Pittsburgh, will recognize over 300 Eagle Scouts who are members of the 2006 Class.
Eagle Scouts who earned the award between October 1, 2005 and September 30, 2006 are invited to attend the program. Before the dinner, the Eagle Scouts will be spending time with their dinner sponsors to learn helpful ideas about their chosen career fields.
This year’s dinner is expecting more than 700 community and business leaders, Eagle Scouts, Scoutmasters and special guests.
The council has named Morgan K. O’ Brien, president and chief executive officer, Duquesne Light as this year’s Eagle Class Honoree.
John D. Goetz, partner, Jones Day, is the table sales chairman and David G. Higie, vice president-corporate communications, Michael Baker Corporation, is the sponsor chairman.
Table reservations and Eagle sponsor invitations may be obtained at Flag Plaza.
