Venturing Advancement

The advancement options available to Venturers are Bronze (in Arts & Hobbies, Outdoor, Religious Life, Sea Scout, and Sports versions), Gold and Silver Awards for all Venturers, plus the Ranger, Quest, Trust, and Quartermaster Awards that are specialized for Venturers in the various program areas.

The chart below does not yet reflect the Quest and Trust awards.

In addition to the advancement opportunities within Venturing, it is also possible for those who have earned at least the First Class rank as a Boy Scout to continue their Boy Scout advancement and earn the Star, Life, and Eagle Scout ranks and Eagle Palms as Venturers.

No matter where a rank or an award is earned, nothing is official until the unit advancement report form (PDF) has been submitted to the council office.
