Health Form

For 2010 Day Camp, all Cub Scouts, Leaders and Parents attending day camp must fill out parts “A” and “C” of the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record.  Please note parts “A” and “C” is required.  No doctor’s signature is required for Day Camp.  Click Here for the latest version of the Annual Health and Medical Record.

Click Here for the 2010 Cub Scout Day Camp brochure.  Use this brochure to help promote Day Camp with in your unit.  Day Camp is one of the few opportunities that Cub Scouts can learn certain activities, like BB Guns, Archery and other exciting events.  If you would like a Day Camp Promotion at your next pack meeting, please contact your Day Camp Director above.

Parent Day Camp Q & A

 

What are the times Day Camp operates?

Day Camp schedules vary by district.  A typical Day Camp begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 3:00 p.m.

Is lunch provided?

Each participant needs to bring a bag lunch and drink. No refrigeration.

What equipment should my son bring?

? Water Bottle         ? Sun Screen

? Rain Gear              ? Must wear Sneakers/Boots ONLY

? Ball Cap                 ? And his Enthusiam

Can my son go to any Day Camp?

Yes, please call the appropriate Day Camp Director above.  Remember all boys must be accompanied by responsible leadership from their home pack.

As a parent should I offer my help for a day or when available?

Yes, not only to help out the Den or Pack, but to see the great program your son is being offered and talk to other parents.

Online Registration

 

Registration for Day Camp is now online.  Please use the links above to register for Day Camp.  If you would like a paper registration or have any problems with the online registration, please contact Jason Newell at jason.newell@scouting.org or (412) 325-7961.

 

 

Refund Policy

Refunds will be made only upon written request to Greater Pittsburgh Council, and only if the cancellation is made in writing at least THREE WEEKS before your Day Camp begins. The refund check will be made payable to the Pack and mailed to the Cubmaster. Please allow up to 60 Days for your request to be processed. All refunds requests must be completed by Aug. 31, 2010.

Registration fees are transferable between different Cub Scouts in a Den or Pack. The fees can be transferred to another Day Camp.
