McGinnis Education Center at a Glance. McGinnis Education Center is tucked on 175 secluded acres along Guyasuta Run, minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Because of its easy access and comfortable atmosphere, the facility has been embraces by corporate, religious, educational, and non-profit organization of all types.
The center is especially popular with environmental education groups. Students can follow the Liken Trail along the wooded path of Guyasuta Run as it tumbles over rocky waterfall, and winds past mossy shores. The stream, plus the abundant flora and fauna, make this the perfect outdoor laboratory. |

Challenge Course (ropes course)
The Challenge Course design includes low and high elements to promote team - building among groups. Participants learn to build upon their strengths and weaknesses in a group environment, while fostering mutual trust. The Course is comprised of Initiative Games, Low Course Elements, High Course Elements and Climbing / Rappelling Tower.
