Unit C.O.P.E Weekend

We schedule two dates each year to provide Scouting youth or units the opportunity to experience participation in C.O.P.E. activities.

The Course Dates for 2009 are:

May 30, 2009.
September 19, 2009

In each case the C.O.P.E. experience will be an all day event on Saturday from 9AM to 5PM. For the one day event remember to bring a lunch and check our ”what to bring” link.

These days will be a fun filled experience to help strengthen the troops program through developing the skills of Leadership, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Trust, Self-Esteem and Communication.

Your unit will need to make your their camping reservations for either weekend by contacting Flag Plaza for Camp Guyasuta, if the units plans to make a full weekend of the Experience. Plan to provide your own food for the weekend just as you would for any camping weekend.

C.O.P.E. program fees for either weekend are $15 per participant. Reservations can be made by contacting Charles Huse at Flag Plaza (412) 325-7950 or E-mail Charles at clhuse@bsamail.org.  Reservations must be prepaid at Flag Plaza and will be secured on a first paid basis. Fees are non-refundable

Bring a great attitude and the awesome G.P.C. C.O.P.E. staff will do the rest. Come enjoy the new Rohr Challenge Center.

Each participant will be required to submit a personal medical form along with a Informed parent consent form
