BVD 2008 WEBELO SPRING CAMPOREE
“Follow the Arrow”
When: April June 6-7-8, 2008
Where: Camp Baker, Chippewa PA
Time: Gates open at 4:00 PM Friday; Camporee ends 12:00 PM Sunday
Cost: $5.00/attendee includes registration
Religious services: There will be an All Scout and Catholic service.
The camporee will give the first and second year WEBELO’s the opportunity to hone their camping skills and earn activity pin requirements on their way to the Arrow of Light Award.
The following activity pins will be offered:
Naturalist Citizen Readyman Scientist Engineer Showman
A 3-mile hike
A Scout is reverent. All adults and youth should attend the religious services. If anyone must stay in their campsite you are asked to respect the reverence of the others by being quiet in your campsite.
Each Pack is to participate in the Saturday night campfire by doing at least one of the following:
Perform a skit, sing a song, or lead the camp in a cheer. Please use the attached Campfire skit form to have your “Showmanship” activity approved.
All Packs must fill out the attached pre-registration form. The form must be returned to J. Onuska by 4:00 PM, May 30th, at: 1970 Barclay Hill Road, Beaver, PA 15009, Fax 724.758.2837, or by email at [jcorao@access995.com].
The attached 2008 WEBELO spring camporee activity sign-up sheet must be no later than 8:00 PM Friday, June 6 th at the Wildman Shelter. Preference is given on a first come basis. It can be mailed in along with the pre-registration form.
