Regular Meetings:
Roundtable: 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at Independence Middle School in Bethel Park (map)
District Board Meeting: 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:01pm at the Bethel Park Community Center (map)
For all Conestoga District Board Meetings and Roundtables we will follow the Bethel Park Schools Closing decisions so if they cancel school for the day or evening we will also cancel our meeting.

Conestoga District Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Conestoga District to elect the District leadership for the next year will be held at on Wednesday, June 2nd at 7:01pm in coordination with the District Board Meeting. Those eligible to vote are currently registered Chartered Organization Representatives, District Members at Large and Council Members at Large residing in the Conestoga District.
A nominating committee composed of individuals from our communities is working to assemble the slate of candidates for the election. If there is someone who you feel should be included on the slate, please send a letter nominating the person to the nominating committee for consideration. Please send these to:

Webelos Woods
WEBELOS WOODS - On April 10 Webelos Woods will be held at the Mingo Creek Park. Please mark your calendars. Troops will be able to camp the nights of the 9th and the 10th in the park. Permits have been obtained. We are looking for units or individuals to run rotations for Webelos Woods. Please contact Jacque Schultz or Frank Gabig (gabhershe@verizon.net) if you are interested in running a rotation. More information to come during the March Roundtable.
Scouting for Food
Sharon Huff is the Conestoga Scouting for Food Coordinator for 2010. Every unit should be participating in this Food Drive whether collecting food items at local markets, or door to door, or with your schools and/or churches. Boy Scout Leader Specific Training
Conestoga District is offering Basic Leadership Training (BLT), required adult leadership orientation for any registered adult Boy Scout volunteer in a pack, troop, district, or council leadership position. This training is designed to provide a solid overview of the scouting program, as well as training for a specific scouting positions. It provides the specialized knowledge for: Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters, Troop Committee Chairs, Troop Committee Members, and interested parents Completion of this course -- both indoor and outdoor segments -- is required be eligible to wear the Trained patch on your uniform.
Basic Leader Training 2010 is Saturday March 13th and Friday night April 16th & Saturday April 17th
The cost per attendee is $20.00. Continental breakfast and Lunch will be provided at the Indoor session on Saturday March 13th. Patrols will be responsible for providing their food and cooking utensils for the Outdoor session April 16th and 17th.
