Japeechen District  Award of Merit History

The District Award of Merit is the highest honor the district can bestow on one of it's Scouters. This award recognizes service to the district, service to the community and service to the Scouter's religious affiliation. In addition to these qualifications, dedication to the advancement of the Scouting movement is an equally important criteria.
