Japeechen District Silver Beaver Recipients
The Silver Beaver is the highest honor the council can bestow on one of its members. It is an honor that cannot be earned through a specific program. Distinguished service to youth, both in and out of Scouting, is one criteria of selection. Almost always, Scouters who receive the Silver Beaver have a long tenure of service. But more importantly it is the recognition of the highest ideals with the person, the deep commitment within. The Silver Beaver recipient stands as an example to all Scouts and Scouters. Japeechen District is proud to have so many wearers of the Silver Beaver among its ranks of great Scouters.
