The Giant List of Little Jobs:

Everyone plays an important part in the success of our Cub Scout Pack!

Cubmaster: Emcee at the monthly Pack meeting. The Fun Guy! Energetic and Enthusiastic. Also attends monthly committee meeting.

Committee Chairman: Hosts the monthly planning meeting. Keeps the pack organized and thinking ahead. Makes sure the Cubmaster and Den Leaders have the support they need to be successful.

Committee Members: Meet monthly with the committee chairman to plan the packs activities

-Secretary produces the unit phone list and monthly info sheet for parents.

-Treasurer keeps track of dues and the pack checking account

-Popcorn Kernel organizes the annual popcorn sale to raise money for the pack

-Transportation Guru coordinates parents to drive to any pack activities or trips

-Campmaster plans the annual family campout

-Day Camp Coordinator promotes day camp and collects registration forms for youth and adults

-Pinewood Pit Crew Chief organizes the big race.

-Excellent Elf excels in planning the Pack Holiday Extravaganza and gift exchange.

-Awards Chairman tracks and purchases awards earned and orchestrates their presentation to boys and parents at the monthly pack meetings.

-Health Nut pays attention to health and safety issues. Keeps a copy of the ‘Guide to Safe Scouting’ close at hand.

-‘Duty to God’ person insures that we remain conscious of this aspect of the Cub Scout Promise, leading invocations, and organizing Scout Sunday.

Den Leaders: Using the Program helps, hosts the weekly Den Meetings, leading boys through their Cub Scout books to earn their badges and rank.

1st Grade Boys Tiger Cub Den Leader

2nd Grade Boys Wolf Den Leader

3rd Grade Boys Bear Den Leader

4th and 5th Grade Boys Webelos Den Leader

Assistant Den Leaders: assists the Den leader at weekly meetings and fills in occasionally for the Den Leader.

Songmeister – Always ready with a song to liven up meetings and outings.

Gadgetteer: Chief craftmaster, assisting Den Leaders in developing craft projects for their boys.

Cheermaster: in charge of stunts and cheers at meetings and campfires.

Chief Cook and Bottle Washer:(not really) Assigns dens and parents to bring cookies and drinks for each pack meeting.

Store Runner: Makes periodic trips to the Scout Shop to obtain awards and Scouting supplies for the Pack.

Set-Up Crew Chief: Schedules parents to arrive early to set up for Pack Meetings.

Clean-up Crew Chief: Schedules parents to stay after meetings to clean-up.
