Cub Scout Leaders and Parents

All new and old leaders are invited to the Seneca District Roundtable. If you’re not sure what to do at your next den or pack meeting come to Cub Scout Roundtable, where there is not just information but where lots of fun is available. Come share with other leaders from other packs, your ideas and take home some new ones with you. First Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland, 311 Cumberland Road, North Hills.

Boy Scout Leaders and Parents

Have you been missing out on the Boy Scout Roundtable?

Do you know when it meets?

Do you know what we discuss?

No???? …….Then read a little further!

Boy Scout Roundtable meets during the Great Seneca District Roundtable (which meets the first Thursday of each month at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Cumberland Rd). During each Boy Scout Roundtable we hear updates from all of our committees such as camping, training, camporee, advancement, etc. In addition, there is always a training session for the attendees.

Consider the training like continuing education credits for Scout leaders. We cover a variety of topics that will help you and your leaders. Future topics will include Scoutmaster’s conferences, Board of reviews, Religious emblems and Scouts Own Service. If you have particular topics you would like covered, just tell the Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner, Frank Jenkins, (412) 369-6803 and he will put it in the queue. The purpose of this Roundtable is to inform and educate our Scout Leaders…. It’s for YOU! Please consider attending! Its not just for Scoutmasters or Committee Chairs, it’s for every Scout Leader!

Units do you have Life Scouts?

… sitting on the fence or taking a long time to finish their Eagle projects or Eagle notebooks? Please work with them and encourage them to complete the items. It would be a shame for them to lose their opportunity to earn the Eagle Scout rank because time got away from them and nobody worked with them. If they're struggling and you can not answer their questions or help them, please contact Sy Beozzo, Advancement Chairman for help and guidance.
