Read below to see where the Flags and the Historical Log Book are going in 2010

We have never raised two flags made by Scouts at Flag Day, but this year it will happen for the first time. Also, the flags will be signed by the dignitaries attending that day, but that is just the start.

The creation of the first Flag Day Log Book will be available for all participants to be signed by Scouts, leaders, friends and family members that are here on Sunday, June 14, 2009.

The two flags made by the Scouts and the Log Book will travel in 2010 to the Governor’s office, to the White House, and to our Chief Scout Executive, Bob Mazzuca, to be signed also.

On Monday, June 14, 2010 the Flags and Log Book will return to Flag Plaza for Flag Day. After the ceremony has been completed the Flags and Log Book will make their final journey to the National Jamboree.

Please be a part of this history in the making. Have your name in the Log Book to show generations to come that you, your Scouts, family and friends are part of the Scouting Family Tree.
