UNIT VISITATION GUIDES

Providing Unit Service is a key function of the commissioner staff. 

• Unit Commissoner must use a variety of contacts to ensure the unit is healthy.

• The commissoiner uses the annual commissioner service plan to help the pack, troop or crew recharter on time.
• Uniform inspections help the commissioner get to know the leadership and families of the unit.  They also provide an opportunity to complete a unit membership inventory prior to rechartering.
• Commissioner's use the National Quality Unit Award to assist the unit in developing it's yearly program and goals.
• Commissioner may need to provide special services to new units.
• The unit visitation guides are tools for commissioner to review the strengths of a unit.
