BALOO

 BALOO Training is the “Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation” course for Cub Scout Camping.  It is an entry level course to the outdoors and health and safety in the Boy Scouts of America.  For a pack to go camping, one adult who is BALOO trained must be listed on the tour permit, and attend the camp program.  Any adult who is involved with pack activities is encouraged to participate.  The more trained adults your unit has, the better your camp program will be

BALOO is a 7 hour indoor and outdoor training which helps with understanding the BSA progressive camping program, guidelines established by the National and Council office, plus helps us understand the value of the outdoor program. This training is offered to any registered adult but at least one adult per pack MUST attend this outdoor training for your unit to go pack camping.
